Different types of all-purpose glitter for craft projects

Looking for ways to take your crafting to another level? Maybe a touch of glitter can elevate your next project. Here are a few uses of our available glitter varieties.

  • Extra Fine Glitter

Our extra fine glitter is a great addition to any scrapbook, flyer or art piece. It is easily applicable but not limited to foam, metal, wood, plastic and paper.

  • Chunky Glitter

Since this product is cosmetic-grade glitter, you can use it on your skin without any worry. This custom-made 30-piece glitter set is great to use with nails, hair, skin and craft supplies.

  • Irregular Glitter Flakes

A popular way to bring a touch of shine to your products is by using our glittery gold flakes. Perfect for designs and pieces that require a dash of royalty while looking great!

  • Art Glass Shards

With a cool metallic finish, these art glass shards are perfect for a fun epoxy resin project. Since they are heavier than the other varieties of glitter we stock, they sink easily and create a layer of depth to your piece. We recommend using them on trays, tables and canvases.

  • Add-On Glitter Shapes

These acid-free glitter shapes are perfect for a kid's weekend craft project. Easy to use, non-toxic, and just plain great to look at!

  • Sequins

Give any project you’re working on an iridescent effect with these glittery sequins. Available in a variety of colours and sizes!

Frequently asked questions

Can you add glitter to polymer clay?

For those new to the world of arts and crafts, polymer clay is a type of modelling clay that can be easily moulded and shaped into various form. This can then be cured in a home oven or with a specialised heating tool. One of the unique features of polymer clay is its ability to retain its shape after curing, making it ideal for crafting and sculpting projects.
You can most definitely add glitter to these clay projects considering the fact that they are super malleable. If you’re putting it on after the clay has hardened, we suggest using wet glue to apply the glitter.

Can you add glitter to epoxy resin projects?

100%.

While glitter is a great addition to your epoxy resin project, we understand that it can be quite tricky to get it to suspend in the resin. For the best outcome, we suggest waiting a couple of hours until the epoxy has set to a gel-like consistency. Once set a little, gently push in your glitter pieces and it should be good to go in a few hours!

Another way to get the best results with glitter in resin is to layer it. First, pour down a layer of the gel. Give it a few hours and let it set. Once set, add your choice of glitter. After this, go ahead and pour the consecutive layer to sandwich the glitter in between the gel layers of epoxy. On completing the steps in this order, your glitter will have a stunning suspended effect in the resin.
